Developed from quick observational ink paintings of lilies, this design transforms expressive ink marks into a feature through devoré techniques and balanced foiling to add depth and shine. The concept was later translated into a wallcovering, using metallic inks to echo the same subtle shine effect.

A delicate yet dynamic embroidery inspired by reeds in flowing water. Inspiration was taken from capturing the constant movement of water, birds and flora present within nature reserves within a city. They offer a oasis of nature within. The design evolved from experimental studies, including charcoal smudging and layered sketches, to translate natural motion into expressive, stitched form.

Part of the post-lockdown Reverie collection, the concept for which I built. It is based the creation of a dreamlike sanctuary that merges an appreciation of nature, cultural empathy, and creative escapism. Surreal forms, exaggerated colours, and vibrant optimism transform interiors into immersive worlds, evoking renewal, joy, and hope.
